Support Team c7trp Posted October 11, 2008 Support Team Share Posted October 11, 2008 I'm removing my FIA roll bar for powder/nylon coating. There is an Arch sticker on the bar say "do not remove or paint over". Clearly it will be removed when the bar is blasted Will not having a sticker give problems at future track days etc? Cheers Tim
ECR
Not at trackdays but it might if you get an officious scrutineer at a race meeting (not likely though)
shn7
Sticker is only valid with the petty strut in place IIRC. Steve. Sussex (West) AR Not forgetting Percy the Polar Bear
Archie Procter
FIA bars are no longer accepted as suitable rollover protection in most forms of Caterham racing. I had my cage powdercoated and have never once had a scrutineer question the lack of sticker. I think it is of no importance whatsoever, especially if you're only doing trackdays.
