Dartmoor7 Posted June 16, 2002 Share Posted June 16, 2002 Reversed out of my garage yesterday no problem, drove three miles down road, tried to reverse, couldn't get the gear. The lever moves across to the 5th/Reverse plane freely but won't move a millimetre into reverse position. All other gears are perfect. Suggestions please? My question was a panic response when my brother drove car for first time and phoned me from a local garage to say he couldn't get reverse. Apparently all his cars have had R oppo 5 and he assumed 7 did. Forgot to retract question last night. Sorry for furrowed brows all round!
