Roland Posted June 15, 2002 Share Posted June 15, 2002 It was a long time ago, but I used to use a U tube of glass with PVC hose connected to each end. with a fluid in the glass and each end of the tubes held in the same place at the air intakes of the carbs you can then see wich one is 'sucking' more. Phil Posted June 15, 2002 Share Posted June 15, 2002 The site Steve has just suggested is were I got mine from, not knowing anything about carbs I have taken my time to get around to doing the job but after downloading some info on webbers and having the gauge to hand, I have finnaly done the job today with brilliant results, I know have balanced carbs and they are running with what I feel to be a correct mixture as before they were to rich, as a result I know have altereed the tickover down from 12,000 to 900, the car responds smoothley and hopefully the MPG will be up.
