Blade Runner Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 I read in my MGOC mag last night that the company that developed the engines for the MG EXF project alongside Janspeed, PHP(?) by some chance have a spare engine siting in the corner of their workshop, for sale. no price given. Jason Plato Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 I'm pretty sure I saw this engine in a hillclimb sports car at Prescott about 4 years ago. The 2 shared drivers were ex Rover employees and had a Supercharged K series with just 1400cc putting out 300+ bhp and was linked to the engineering team that did the landpeed car . Does anyone else know of the car I describe ? They did state that it was a 1.4 and that, I think seven engines were developed in all. Apparently they ran one flat out for an hour on their dyno.
