You can capture via the rear analgue inputs both in S-VIDEO or COMPOSITE and output in realtime to an analogue in equiped tv or lcd screen to review the timeline of edit programmes such as ADOBE premiere 6.5, premiere pro, premier pro 1.5 and canopus EDIUS upto version 4.61 If you want to cature and edit your in-car footage and make dvd's for archiving this is an excellent card to do it and in realtime! If you use an AVCHD camera then you can download the free converter for avchd to AVI and edit your footage with this card and use the software included called "storm edit" to edit your raw footage! This is also a great way to backup all those VHS tapes you have sitting in the loft with family videos on! The card was in use only 2 weeks ago and is only being sold due to a full pc and edit card upgrade, the card is a fantasic foundation to any edit suite and is not complicated to use. The card does not need a dedicated pc and will sit well in any windows 2000, xp, xp pro desktop.
