Andrew Dent
Superlight R, Red Mileage 35,000 Factory built car First registered 20/03/98. Mine since early 2000. Tax/MOT until April 2009 Number of owners 2 including me. Previous owner was Arrowstar. All STEEL 1.8 litre K-Series with 1444 cams. Power 235 bhp 165 ft/lb by DVA with all the right bits on it. Emerald ECU. Mapped at Emerald by Dave Walker Pace Dry Sump Battery Master cut off Radtec race radiator AP Racing front 4 pot callipers AP Racing rear callipers AP Racing race brake master cylinder Vented discs front and back Tilton adjustable brake bias valve Corner weighted Freestyle suspension and adjustable roll bars front and rear Wheel & Tyres 13” Barnby's with Avon ACB10 tyres 5 speed Quaife Dog box Caterham Race Seats 6 point Race Harnesses driver and passenger side Momo Suede 260mm wheel Immobiliser Change up lights Push button Start Carbon Dash Stack digital Instrument display Aero aluminium fuel filler cap 4.44 ZF Limited Slip Differential with modified ramp angles. 4.11 also available. Carbon Fibre front & rear wings Fully Painted Road roll cage and side impact bar by Caged. Custom built for a bit of extra height Raceco Titanium 7” custom made exhaust silencer @ 98db ATL Bag Tank Custom HE30 cam cover Keyless ignition Lowered drivers floor The car is genuinely sound and has run without problem. If there has ever been a problem, it has been sorted out properly. It has been used repeatedly on track as well as on road. It was always the driver that ran out of talent before the car ran out of performance. New pistons were fitted late 2006 as an oil scraping ring had failed. The Stack has been reprogrammed by Stack to allow adjustment of parameters. There is also more lap timing functions which can be reactivated by Stack. Hopefully they will still do this. I have a large file of history/bills that cover a lot of the work carried out over the years. The car has hardly been used over the last 2 years. It has spent too much time in the garage. Time for some one else to have some fun. £15,500 or a sensible offer. If the car does not sell as a complete package, then I am happy to split it into various parts. Rolling chassis/roll cage Engine Dry sump ECU Gearbox Diff etc A sad day. ☹️
tricky dicky
Andrew is not a polisher BUT this is one hell of a car. The car is beautifully set up and goes like a train. I've been lucky enough to drive it at Cadwell where it was one of the quickest things on track. LOTS of money has been spent on all the right bits. An excellent price too. Sorry you are selling Andrew you are a true enthusiast and gave up hours of your time to help with my various garage disasters! Good luck TD
