Dickie Normuss
WHAT ❗ It seems like you've only just got it Best of luck though, so what's the motorsport idea? Saw you down by St Helens on Sunday but realised to late to do anything. The_ASH
Does seem like i've only just got it not 12 months yet, won't be leaving the club so you'll still have to put up with me at the Oxford meet, 3 options exist one of which involves an armchair and no car, the next features a suitable Se7en for Hillclimbing and the third is a Tintop made in Stuttgart which I can use all the time. -----Ashley Webster. 1400 Supersport forever ? Dannyboy
how about a 4th...involving purchase of a suitable classic grad racecar..or super grad......should be available for around/ less than the sale price of your car 😬 😬 1400S/S is an ideal starter car for Class 1 of the L7Club sprint championship and..if you want I could be persuaded to sell my 1800 S/S engine to drop into it that won Class 2 of the sprint championship last year 😬 😬 Dannyboy
The_ASH
Not sure about the 4th option but well done for the suggestion. My car is one of the 30 LE Roadsports with plaque etc and rather unique so I think it deserves keeping that way. Don't want to do the Club sprint championship yet but do fancy doing a year or more of the Gurston Down hillclimb championship. -----Ashley Webster. 1400 Supersport forever ? Atinod
Just out of interest, why are the dials set at 90 degrees in the dash
The_ASH
I wondered this originally, it seems odd until you drive the car, the Momo wheel is a 260mm so the last 100mph or so of the speedo is hidden and also a great chunk of the rev counter is masked when they are in the normal orientantion, easy enough to put them back to normal but I quickly got used to them where the builder left them. Living in heavily speed limited Oxfordshire there are a lot of places where knowing the vehicles exact velocity at a glance is important. -----Ashley Webster. 1400 Supersport forever ?
