Miltec
two sets up for grabs Fronts 7.0/ 22.0 -13 Rears 6.0/ 21.0 - 13 fit onto 5.5" or 6" wheels Have come from Formula Ford car. So I would say only to be used for track / sprint use, but Caterham have them on their website saying for road use? Jason Plato
Just for info, the Caterham supplied ACB's are "E" marked. The formual ford ones state "not for highway use". I assume its because they havent been passed through the tests required. It is also a discussion point that tyres dont have to be e marked but "suitable for use". here is C7 TOP Taffia rear gunner
Miltec
Oh I see, but I guess they would still be good for track days etc? VX 1600 Live Axle T440LKK
Jason Plato
Ohh yeah - fantastic, I use them myself as they are the same rolling radius as the 8.2/22 slicks but with a narrower width and less grip to allow easier rear wheel steer here is C7 TOP Taffia rear gunner
The Polisher
I am interested in a set at the right price. How much tread and how old? (date code ie. 4 large digits after 'dot' code will suffice) Dave H. Mad about S77ENS
Miltec
Will check the "dot"? date and let you know, tread looks fairly good compared to a new set. Am open to reasonable offers on the price. VX 1600 Live Axle T440LKK
Miltec
the only info on tyres is- 02064m on the 7.0﹑22.0 -13 7319 02072m on the 6.0﹑21.0- 13 7317 VX 1600 Live Axle T440LKK
The Polisher
Maybe non road legal tyres do not have to have the date code! Could you provide an estimate of their age and tread depth? At the moment I could be making an offer on 15 year old bald tyres. Dave H. Mad about S77ENS
Miltec
Used for A formula ford race this season. Will get pics taken of all four tyres and post (when I get some time at home) VX 1600 Live Axle T440LKK
The Polisher
Thanks Miltec, if they were raced this season then age is not an issue. I look forward to seeing the pics. Dave H. Mad about S77ENS
