mvh
Hi Julian, i'm also interested, would it be suitable for an R400 4-2-1 race pipe? Plus i'm looking to reduce noise for track days so do you know what db levels you get from it? Thanks Martin

Julian Thompson
Sorry for the delay in replying chaps - I've been too busy chatting about Lewis Hamilton 😬 I got the Blackbird down to 98db with it no problem, so I think noise reduction is pretty good. Can't remember the diameter to be honest. Will measure it tomorrow.
Julian Thompson
It's 2.5 inch OD. Overall can diameter seems to be 6.5 approx.
mvh
a couple more questions..... what is the overall lenght of the can? does it exit the same side as an R400? can you use the same exhaust mount? will there be a performance difference becuase it was made for a BEC? thanks
Julian Thompson
what is the overall lenght of the can? Don't know - will measure it. does it exit the same side as an R400? Yes. can you use the same exhaust mount? Yes, and there is a mounting bracket already on the silencer anyway. will there be a performance difference becuase it was made for a BEC? No - it was not made for a BEC - it was used on the BEC but the Techcraft is more than suitable for any engine, no probs.
