Jon Crofts Posted September 6, 2008 Share Posted September 6, 2008 Since summer is over, I'm now thinking of winter jobbies for the R300......... First off, repaint. I am going to take the car to TSK for a full back to bare metal repaint, probably need a new rear offside arch due to ahem some cone damage which has put a star in the gel coat. Currently the car is aztec orange with a black centre stripe and nose band, current thinking is either stick with same scheme but continue stripe down rear panel or a 'reverse' Porsche Gulf scheme. Body in Porsche Orange with a Porsche Blue centre stripe & nose band. Whaddya reckon? Secondly I need to fit a lowered drivers side floor and Roadsport cage. Question is before or after the TSK makeover? Is it worth the risk of a ding or scratch being put in after the repaint? Rollbar needs to come off for repaint anyway, before I call TSK does anyone know if TSK would get this done or be able to carry this work out for me? TSK is in Erith, Kent so not a million miles from CC, would it make sense to get CC to fit cage & floor first? Ta.
