John Alston Posted August 23, 2000 Share Posted August 23, 2000 If you have got a Ford 5 speed box, the problem could be the nasty little circlip has let the cable come out from the gearbox drive gear. StewartG Posted August 23, 2000 Share Posted August 23, 2000 I bet it's the cable has worked loose from the elbow on the side of the gearbox, mine does this regularly so if you find a way to stop it you,ll be nominated for the low flying free subscription award. ps lock tight and mole grips are temporary. Jason Plato Posted August 23, 2000 Share Posted August 23, 2000 best optionis to fit a bike speedo ...... £20 from Halfords , real accurate with average speed , trip , 0-60mph etc . the std speedo is far too inaccurate what with the rozzers dishing tickets at 34mph !!
