Dickie Normuss
Is there an easy way to work out which size lens I have in my bulletcam as I bought it second hand? Which bit needs measuring? Support Team Shaun_E Posted August 28, 2008 Support Team Share Posted August 28, 2008 It's the focal length that needs measuring but I don't' know how this could be done easily. I'll have a look this evening at the 2 lenses I have at home and see if there are any distinguishing features. Fishy Dave
Post a couple of screen shots using the bullet cam and I will have an educated guess (I used to own Fast Films). Take a look at Fast Films , click on shop, then look through the bullet cam accessories where you will see the differences in view (both inside and outside a car) each lens gives. Support Team Shaun_E Posted September 2, 2008 Support Team Share Posted September 2, 2008 I've had a look and there are no markings on the lenses. They do look quite different though. Picture here shows the 4.3mm lens on the left and the 8mm lens on the right. The other end of the lenses is shown here but you would have to remove the lens from the camera to check this which would risk allowing moisture in.
