Milesk
I have a 1.4K super sport 1992 apparently 130BHP? I am confident the ECU is unwell as I have plugged in a normal Caterham ECU and running/tick over is fine. Can you and do you know of anyone who can repair ECU's. Alternatively can I use a Metro GTI ECU?? If I have to buy new, is the Emerald the only route to go and would there be any power gain? Probably not as was 95 or 103 bhp and a lower rev limit than SS. >>If I have to buy new, is the Emerald the only route to go CC SS unit, like you've got? Kevsta
If problem is with tick-over then why not try resetting IACV? When I took my car out of hibernation last year it ran lick a pig on tickover until I realsied why, reset it and purred like a kitten! Alternatively, I had my ecu fixed recently by vitesse electronic systems ltd (excellent price and first class service), blatmail me and I'll send you contact details. Nick Pargiter
I have an ECU from my 1.4 Supersport you can try, I will be in Billingshurst at the weekend. As Kevsta says try re-setting it first as this always worked for me. Nick
