The head was going to be part of a project for my 1.6SL but this is no longer on the cards as I am looking at a new caterham. The spec is VVC Head ported and polished by the best person in the business (VVC Blanked) 1227 cams Pair vernier pulleys Valve springs (double) Steel spring caps VVC blanking kit Solid follower shims Set big valves Cosilbro guides The head is ready to go and has taken about 5 months to put together. These are rare as rocking horse ****! I have waited 8 months for this head, and I am a little disappointed not to be getting it fitted. It will produce around the 200bhp mark. What a difference a head such as this makes to standard 1.6 engine. To get the best out of it you will also need throttle bodies and forged pistons. 200 bhp more or less.
