thorpep
I am getting a set of 13" rims with ACB 10's, mainly for the track. I also want a set of 13" wheels/tyres for road use which can also double up as "wets" for the track. Can anyone suggest a suitable tyre which will give me good grip for wet track days as well as being a good general road tyre? Price and best place to purchase would also be helpful. Thanks Philip
Blatman
Don't forget that ACB10's will need much less camber than any radial tyre you plan to fit. To get the best from ACB's will mean compromising the set up against radials. If you keep the higher camber settings for the radials, the ACB's will wear like mad, and possibly overheat on the edges.....
Jason Plato
I would set the suspension up for the ACB's and then run 21R's on the road and for wet use on track . I have used 32R's on ACB suspension settings before and the wear rate was not increased on the side shoulders or anything . George Polley are cheapest for 21R's I believe ?? dave Edited by - Dave J on 9 Jun 2002 10:24:
