Tre7or
I have a Vauxhall 1600cc 8-valve GTE Nova engine in my Caterham, I want to convert to solid lifters. Im told there are various ways of doing this modification, could someone explain the different options and suggest the best option? also, could you explain how to adjust them once fitted. Swiss_Tony
The only ones I have come across are basically a direct replacement for the hydraulic part which is adjusted via an allen key through the end of the follower via a small hole. Not all followers have the small hole though. Hope that makes sense! I assume you know you would also need a different cam designed for solid lifters as the cams are different? Anthony
Spot on James, Also, Blydenstein Engineering may be able to help with parts as they did quite a bit of tuning on 8v 01763 272866 Regards Anthony
