Clive, Kev, Allister and myself returned to Llys y Fran as most of us are not welcome next weekend Kev said don't worry Simon they just don't want the fast boys there 😬 Anyway. It was dry cool sunny and windy. Needed a fleece. Al did 53.07 Clive 49.56 Kev 49.53 They all went much quicker than May. Well done to them Me well I was really chuffed. My fastest time on the hill is 45.6 on track day slicks. 46.93, 46.25, 45.85 44.69 then top 10 run off 44.39 and 43.97 2nd overall and only beaten by one single seater. I'll upload the video later but it was Until then I seem to have found a new club photographer. Lent my big camera to Simon McCall. The rally lads were all out along with the Westies. Orange Corsa - rolled at the hairpin 😔 Light blue plain (no graphics) Mk2 Escort 17yr old lad driving prep for a night event tarmac rally next week. Westy visited the greenery new chassis needed. ☹️ I went faster than all the other single seaters apart from one 😔 Look at the angle of attack of those rally guys. SORTED. The other light blue mk2 is a chap called Graham Hollis Known as the Entertainer. Full drifts through the right hander before the hairpin. He came into view sideways 😶🌫️ Nipped the handbrake on the way into the hairpin and continued to power out. Giving it some Welly. As Always! They were stood taking photo's of the chaps through to the top 10. (Yes they were ready to have a go) I was just in front and they made some half hearted attempt at a slur on the 7 and me (all in the best possible taste) so I simply asked them if they would all like to have a real car in the picture. Braked to early into the boat house and just put it on the grass at the last bend. Still 43.97 I was chuffed with 😬 I reckon a 43.00 is possible. Next year eh!
