philwaters
Are these pads prone to squealing? I've changed to them this year from Green stuff (which also squealed) and hoped I'd have quiet brakes again, but alas these now squeal more than a pig that is stuck somewhere ☹️ I'm running Racing 4 pots from Hi-Spec, to which I added some S/steel shims to try to quiet down the green stuff they came with. Assembled with copper slip, etc.... Phil Waters
regroo
I had DS's on a DC2. I ran without the shims and they were pretty good. IME shims are not needed, just copper slip on the back of the pad/pistons. The one time I did have some grumbling pads I filed a larger chamfer both sides of the pad and it dissapeared. Jason Plato
file the leading edge of the pad to 45deg or it may be that the pads are not being used hard enough - try giving em a workout with 8 stops from 100 > 30mph here is C7 TOP Taffia rear gunner
