hunttheshunt
Reluctantly my R500 for sale on Pistonheads 570418 The specification of the car is as follows: Carbon fibre headlights, indicator pods, front cycle wings, rear wing protectors, removeable carbon fibre aeroscreen and mirrors, nose cone. New type FIA roll bar with petty strut and head restraint Keyless ignition Carbon fibre airbox (?1200 option new) Cat bypass (with cat included for MOTs) New-style anthracite Superlight wheels, 6" front and 8" rear, fitted with CR500s (rears brand new, fronts 2000 miles) Painted Viper Blue, (original Comma livery now removed). The car has been maintained regardless of expense, and comes with a huge amount of history and press coverage. The engine was last refreshed by Minister around 2000 road miles ago. Caterham rebuilt the throttle bodies in 2006. The car had a 12000 mile service in May 2007 The rear pads, rear wheel bearings and a broken roller barrel were replaced at that time. In June 2008 the car had a 3000 mile service and new throttle pedal. In addition a new removable steering wheel, tonneau cover and boot cover were fitted. The Tillet seats were removed and refurbished and new Caterham harnesses installed. All work has been carried out by Caterham Cars. The car is in very good condition with no known faults, mechanically and cosmetically.
