neil.cavanagh Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 just went out for a short blat to bed in new tyres before MIRA... brake pedal goes uber-mushy half way round the blat... limp home... inspect car and find left rear braided brake hose has rubbed on wheel and split. So need to source a new hose tomorrow or re-fit my old solid brake pipe.... bang goes the meal out tomorrow night I think!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Irrelevant Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 Get some -3 braided line and make up a new hose - ThinkAuto do it if you can get off work early tomorrow. Or maybe give D21 a call - he's driving round getting supplies tomorrow and may be able to help. Alternatively, stick the solid one on as you say, but you'll only have to fart about refitting a flexible one at some point so try and get some -3 hose from somewhere. I may, just may have some hose in the garage if you're absolutely stuck - haven't checked though so this should be a last resort. Guess you'll need a hand bleeding brakes?
