Vole Sunset
... for sale online at CC. At the risk of being shot down in a blaze of numptiness, does this mean you can install a 6 speed in a crossflow? No doubt people will come on here and telll me a need to take a blowtorch to the bell housing, and that my thrunge sprocket will need to be upgraded. And if such a thing is possible, I assume that the final drive will be 1:1 (as per my 4 speed). Also this is a strictly rhetorical question, as I have just bought a new sailing boat, and have nothing in the kitty apart from a cobweb and a dead spider. Mick Day
A 6 speed gearbox can be fitted to a X-flow or indeed a BDR.

elie boone
If you replace a 4 speed for a 6 speed you will need another cluth plate and also another propshaft, if the chassis is LA depending on age you might need a remote g.box support kit.
