The Philip Lahm goal was a good move (as was the second Turkish goal) Lehmann showed why Wenger let him go elsewhere - I thought he was weak. It's been a good event - and probably better for the absence of England and, in particular, their "fans". Democratic dissent is not disloyalty, it is a positive civic duty. Posted June 29, 2008 Share Posted June 29, 2008 As football when played by grown men only lasts 90 mins plus time for them to roll on the ground and pretend to be hurt why cant thet play all of the matches on one day and be over with it 2 games in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening If the poor darlings cant cope with that them make the games shorter or pay them less until they understand they need to work for their millions a year, Shrek and his mates would soon learn, after all they are little more than trained animals with expensive tastes - in fact they should be kept in cages at night and only allowed out when they retire to then get a real job that is meaniningful to society - I suggest they could become samples for military doctors to practice dealing with gunshot wounds Now can we get back to summer games ?
