7" exhaust ground clearance....

You'll only get grounding issues if youve got the worm drive of the big jubilees at the Bottom or the exit pipe turned down instead of Out

1 slacken clips and have worm drives between can and body

2 Slacken pipe in Collector and twist upwards till exit pipe is parallel with ground

Problems solved.

I've been running a Raceco 7.25" silencer for the last 3-4 years, whilst I don't have any ground clearance issues in normal use I have bashed it on the ground a few times in unusal circumstances such as going over a hidden cattle grid in the USA a bit too fast!

I've also grounded it on kerbs on track whilst sprinting.

Cheers

I have a Caterham 7" race exhaust and in normal use it doesnt' ground. If the jubilee clip that holds the silencer to the collector comes a little loose then the exit pipe can drop and hit the ground. Also the exhaust is quite heavy and I seem to go through exhaust mounting bobbins on a regular basis.
