Big Dan
Just a quickie after the monster blat need to change the rear disc's and pads on my '04 de dion car. Does any one what ford disc's are used (thanks to myles' website for the pad info) Thanks Dan
Englishmaninwales
The discs are the same as the front discs (unless uprated) and are of Triumph Spitfire origin from CC or Rimmer Bros here. You will probably need to replace the rear disc to hub bolts as they have a shallow head and are difficult to remove without damage. stevefoster
To effectively remove the shallow bolts (disc to hub) take the correct size socket and grind the curved but off the end with a bench or angle grinder - the socket will then get purchase on more of the bolt head - I've re-used them no problem like this. Do threadlock them back on. Add lightness, says the man with a VX :-) My 2002/2003 racing pics here General pics (mostly of 7's and cars). here

Big Dan
Bits have arrived and went to fit them over the week end, but didn't order the big nyloc nuts. Does anyone know what size the are and thread size etc so I can order them in from a specialist. Many thanks Dan
Stationary M25 Traveller
41mm across flats, one left hand thread, one right hand thread. They are fitted to Sierra XR4i if that helps you source them locally. Should only use them once, but many of us have refitted them several times (fingers crossed smiley) 7 related photos
