Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted June 27, 2008 Leadership Team Share Posted June 27, 2008 If CR500s are up to the job, then why do other tyres not fail when the tyre pressures are not optimal? I'm currently using CR500s but assessing the performance/cost/wear, they're probably the least impressive tyres I've had on the 7. Yokohamas here I come ....... Stu. Ian B
about 5 degrees attributable to that, fronts have about 10 degrees difference inside/outside walls Ian - MI 5EVN - Slightly Vider SVelte model 😬 now repainted to match the Autocom headsets (and AA recovery truck 😳)
6speedmanual
Variation in sidewall temperatures partly due to heat under car and airflow, but probably more significantly due to the negative camber, 1.5 deg on rears, 1.5 to 2 deg on fronts. Inner sidewall carrying more load. Peter 6SpeedManual *tongue*There's no such thing as too much BHP per Ton 😬
Ian B
exactly. inner wall flexes more due to camber. Ian - MI 5EVN - Slightly Vider SVelte model 😬 now repainted to match the Autocom headsets (and AA recovery truck 😳)
