Simon Robotham
It's a sad day, but my Caterham must go; here's the brief spec of the car: Caterham 7 Superlight 1997 / P reg 17,500 miles MOT – 21/06/08. Will renew prior to completion of sale. Tax – 30/06/08 Colour – Mclaren Orange (day-glo) with black pack Full service history This car is a very well publicised Caterham press car, used by them to launch the model range. I have a copy of Autocar where this very car was pitched against the likes of Ferrari’s and Porsches around Silverstone and beat them. I also have 2 official Caterham brochures with the car in. The car is also featured in Chris Rees’ book; ‘The Magnificent 7’. The car has all the usual Superlight refinements plus a few extras: 1.6 Supersport engine (k series) Carbon nosecone Carbon cycle wings Carbon rear wings Carbon aeroscreen Carbon dash Carbon side mirror 6 Speed gear box LSD Adjustable Bilstein suspension Caterham/AP Racing brakes with adjustable brake bias FIA rollbar Anti-Cav tank Wide track suspension Half doors Tonneau cover Quick release steering wheel Battery cut off switch The car has black centred KN Minators all round with Yokohama AO21’s. These were bought just before Xmas so are in mint condition and the tyre’s have a loads of life left in them. The car is priced to sell at £13,000. The registration number C7 LWT (Caterham 7 Lightweight) can be included in the sale of the car for an extra £300. I have a black framed heated windscreen with black stanchions that can be sold with the car as well. The screen does have 2 small cracks in the bottom drives side corner, but is still waterproof and the cracks do not affect your visibility. To go with this I have a brand new Jill Judd half hood. This can be added to the sale at an extra £300. Genuine reason for sale. If you want to see picturesor want any more info, please either drop me an email or call; 07917 566 851 Thanks! neilg
Simon, if at the end of the day you would like to sell the windscreen and stantions i would be interested in buying them. I realise of course you will want to wait to give any purchaser of your car first refusal. Just thought i'd let you know my interest. Thanks Neil 07766912648
