It was this article convinced me to buy a Caterham in April 1993. It was a crossflow as I didn't have £35k and I was sorely disappointed that mine was not as yellow as the one in the pickies. 9 years later I've finally got a car which looks and goes like (well better actually) than the JPE in the article.
