kenny. Posted May 28, 2002 Share Posted May 28, 2002 Anyone know the REAL reason for the change to 15" on the R400?. I priced the R400 up and then added the price of these wheels and you were virtually on R500 prices. Thats the reason I stuck with SLR. The guys at Caterham obviously know what they're doing but I thought the huge spec/price increase on SLR/R400 to be more of sales ploy than a benefit to customers. I certainly would have baulked at the new prices had my order for SLR not been in. After all the cars are virtually the same with a host of extras forced down your throat (at a cost) and missing those cracking mag split rims. R400 is certainly a beauty but I feel to close to R500 in price now. Also why the hell is the LSD not included in the R300 price.......baffled! Kenny SLR (Its p1ssed down since I got it!!!!)
