Tom Pickering
Anyone know what to ask for specifically. My speedo cable has just broken on 1990 live axle Xflow with MT75 (5speed) gearbox. What are they off and where can I get one from? Tommy P
Dave H
Caterham or Redline should stock them, try giving them a call. Dave H

Tom Pickering
I've called Caterham - giving them details of the car and they are not sure what cable I need _ They did tell me that the MT75 gearbox is off a Sierra but were still unsure what type of speedo cable I need to order. The existing cable has a knurled aluminium screw cap that goes straight into the back of the box. (As far as I could see anyway and what a pig to get at!). When I eventually get one is it possible to just slide the inner cable in or should I really change the whole thing. Any Ideas please? Fred
tom that will depend if it is broken at the end you may have to get the bit out of the drive if you have both the ends you can just replace the inner fredid=blue> eek.gif
Tom Pickering
Fred - the inner cable was broken near the top entrance to the speedometer. But I still need to find the right one. Tommy P
