jingars
I cannot make it Stoneleigh, so I do have an undercover operative on the lookout at the autojumble, but does anyone have a spare washer bottle cap knocking around? I have managed to lose mine. The car is 1996 vintage. An up-turned red cap from a can of WD-40 has done sterling service as a temporary fix, and stayed in place during Ash Bailey's Llandow track day - which is conclusive evidence that I really wasn't trying hard enough... Wrightpayne
J, I posted a while ago about a workaround for this - plastic milk bottle tops with the coarse thred are perfect for this. I used a fruit juice one as the blue matched my silicone hoses 😬
jingars
I shall delve around in our recycling bin and see if anything fits.... Thanks for the pointer - much obliged Cheers, Jon.
Wrightpayne
Jon, I think I had to carefully scrape the tops of the threads with a stanley knife as it was a bit of a tight fit. Ian
