robmar
Mr Sankey - you have made it then a mention in autosport indeed, was it next to the headline , 'mystery senior driver to replace hamilton in 2009' Rob 😬
4ster
So Andy Warhol was right – “in the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes”. Well-done Mike! Does that mean that you beat some other illustrious L7 Club sprinters in more powerful cars? And a SagaSevener too – what an achievement! Mark Durrant
I think you will find that the Superlight went even quicker at Lhergy Frissell on the Saturday but Mr Sankey was not at the wheel
mikes
Wow - fame at last 😬 😬 Despite Ray's comments it should be noted that on the demanding and tricky Sloc hillclimb on the Friday where the Saga member recorded the best L7C time, the Superlight seemed to be a tad slower in the young whippersnapper's hands. Typically he decided to not only pass the support car at reckless speed on the Mountain the following day but indulged in some 'showboating' on the way back!! I dunno, what can you do It was a great trip though. I have to say that it is much easier driving a seven than pushing one uphill for about a quarter of a mile.......even for someone at the peak of fitness like myself Mike
