Guys,

The requirement to produce documentation such as MOT, tax and insurance for roadgoing cars and a competition car log book for non-roadgoing cars is standard practise and everyone should have all this documentation available for inspection at every event.

In practise it is uncommon for it to be requested - the usual thing for roadgoing cars is scrutineers check the validity of the tax disc. If that ius not up to date or missing they may well ask further questions.

Different circuits and clubs have different sets of scrutineers etc so as Goodwood is a new venue it would be wise to be cautious.

Best regards,

Brian

It seems that there are allocated garages and a special area for trailers. Are the arrangements similar to Shelsley Walsh where we have to unload the car and then leave the trailer in another area? Can we have the tow cars near the garages or will these have to be left attached to the trailers?

As this is a proper circuit I assume that the 'garages' are proper garages rather than the sheds at Shelsley, and presumably we will have to share?

Fun is not a straight line.

I hope it rains!!! 😬 😬 Lard-butt SVs come into their own then!

THough not as much fun if I can't beat Simon and Mark in practise.... *tongue* *tongue* *tongue* *tongue* *tongue* (not that the situation lasts into the afternoon...)

There is a lot more room in the paddock area than at Shelsey, but not enough for everyone to store their tintops/trailers next to the garage.

Still, didnt' stop the tw8ts with they DB7 race car parkingn their HGV car transporter right in front of our garages at the test day 2 weeks ago.

The garages are similar to Shelsley Walsh and there is no room for support vehicles or trailers in the paddock. On arrival I suggest you onload near your garage and park the trailer etc in the designated area.

Shelsley, rain and very muddy field springs to mind......... 😬

Malcolm

Edited to say.....sorry not to be there this weekend, have a good 'un *cool*
