Paul,

I got an email from another this afternoon asking for photos which I will send tomorrow. However, you asked for dibs, he didn't. Blatmail me your email address and I will post the photos to you too. You have first refusal, no Dutch auction, price as is plus postage.

Sorry, I'm not going to Stoneleigh, but postage shouldn't be more than a fiver.

Richard,

My car is an early de dion with spindle top mounts which is similar to live axle as I understand it. My car is long cockpit. IIRC the rear panel postion was moved further back but I don't know what impact that has on the roll bar mounting. Assure yourself it fits and it's yours, if not Bob has second dibs.

Alex, the runners were typically gritty, but I cleaned them before they were stowed away. I'll give them a thorough clean and a light oiling.

Richard, I've had an answer to a query in Tech Talk here. Short cockpit cars did have a different roll bar design. Mine is the same as the one shown on the yellow car.

Assuming you do not want my bar, I'll send a blatmail to Cannonball Bob explaining the difference between short and long cockpit cars. If he has a long cockpit car I'll offer him the bar, if that's ok? Best thread I could find describing the difference is here. *thumbup*

John,

I posted the oil cooler, brackets, pipes and a Mocal sandwich plate (which I didn't even know was in the box!) on Saturday morning by parcel post. The Post Office reckoned 2-3 days. Postage was £6.
