GTD
Just two houses, where do your watch winders all live? And they say there's no recession 😔 BTW, back on topic - the developers forgot to register www.fordecotown.co.uk and www.fordecotown.com Warning - no Caterham content here No Eco town here please
Dee Pee
Why should I, a pensioner, get called grey!! I resent that. I also resent the implications that you to imply, of being a pensioner. I've paid all my taxes to keep all you 'youngsters' in clover and suffered all the ignominy of slaving under socialism and all its 'cr-p, more than once. Next thing is that the L7C will exclude the older ones amongst us. I can still drive a Caterham quickly even if my competition days are over and I've held an international competition licence for some years, in my ...er... youth. Rant over. O, and by the way, I'm quite harmless to speak to when I turn up at meetings. That should wind up Windy Cat.
Don
Actually I thought I was on side with the er Distinguished Older Members of Society ... I'll try not to dig a bigger hole ... On the one hand my parents haven't moved on from our family home and on the other my in-laws only recently moved into a 5 bed house ( ideal family home, in a town and 100 yards walk from a primary school ) obviously they don't need all the bedrooms, and they certainly don't want the high heating and council tax bills it comes with, but it was the only way, around here, that they got the large garden they wanted. My point being that I don't think the 'DOMS' are being catered for in the housing market ... and while policy is concentrating on tenuous reasons to build in specific areas, it's missing the point about who they should be building for, in the long term. DeePee why would I want to exclude the older members of club when I enjoyed your article in LF!? (However don't believe a word about him being harmless - he tried to poke my eye out with his brolly when I met him!! 😳)

Dee Pee
Ah, Windy Cat, I'm suitably pacified. That's two people at least that saw the article. If we ever meet up again I shall expect help to dismount from my low carriage and a quick doff of the Cap in suitable respect! Have a good new motoring season and a sail in the estuary.
