It's not clear how much of that area is intended to be built on though. The blurb says the plan is for an "eventual" 3000 dwellings, plus the exisiting 2500 commercial park jobs and another 2500 jobs to come. When Aintree sold off some of their land for development it was written into the contract that motor sport would be continuing on the site next door, and this was mirrored into the house deeds - so there can be no complaints from the new residents without breaching the estate bylaws. Most of the 15 seem to be "brownfield in the middle of the countryside" locations, which also happens to describe most motorsport venues. Must check what the other sites are near....
