Peter Lydford
Not quite, it's actually a W e s t f i e l d Eleven for sale, it belongs to a friend of mine, he just bought a Banks Europa. The Eleven is correctly registered as a 1959 car, period reg, tuned A series engine, chassis number 3, very authentic, even to the point the Historic Lotus register accept it ! Colour is british racing green as you'd expect, recent £900 gearbox, MOT etc: I think he wants around £9250 for it, call him on 07818-407016 cheers
kenny.
Hiya Pete, Your mate sent John a nice letter saying how much he's enjoying the Europa. I understood he'd had an underwrite from Matty's for the 11. Sure he'll sell it as it looked a nice piece of kit. Peter Lydford
Hi Kenny, I've also been out in the Europa, very nice it is too, Dave is already after more power ! As for me I bought another Elan +2S/130 as it was 3 times cheaper than the Europa and I could fit in it ! Yeah, Paul Matty has said he'd have the car, but at a price ... cheers Pete
kenny.
It's a crying shame we did not meet before I sold my Banks 47 2.0 VX 16v....over 200bhp and handling which people found hard to believe. John's is a much more sedate drive on the public highway.......and it doesn't set every sodding alarm off it passes!!!! Catch you later, Kenny SLR
