dreamer_uk75
Hi guys I've never had to bed brakes in before, so how do I do it? Car isn't road legal, so they will be bedded in on a track day (front pads only)...... Thanks!

drB
not claiming to be an expert but I have read some threads which suggest that you shouldn't come to a complete halt when bedding in - if you become stationary there will be an uneven deposit of brake material onto the disk... classics, keeping it old skool! Guy Lowe
I have fitted a set of MINTEX M1144 pads this afternoon and the MINTEX C TECH installation instructions say: “Apply 2 – 3 light applications of the brakes @ 30mph down to 0mph” “Apply 3 – 4 steady applications of the brakes @ 70mph down to 30mph” “Leave as long as possible to cool down. They will now work from cold.” “DO NOT LEFT FOOT BRAKE” Hope this helps Guy Lowe Rider Lowe o *arrowup*o How to fit a ZETEC in one easy lesson here
