Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted March 23, 2008 Leadership Team Share Posted March 23, 2008 What is the best way of securing the honeycomb boot floor? My old wodden floor was held down with self tappers - Can you do the same with the honeycomb and maybe countersink the floor so that it is flush? Michael. F355GTS
Michael Mine is screwed with self tappers, no need the countersink as the aluminium does is for you as you nip up the screws Mark
Steve T
So does this replace the wooden floor ? what is it's main advantage, weight saving or additional strength (is it stronger than the wooden floor). thanks Steve Now with DVA Power! 191bhp and 150.9 lbft torque. Shad
One mine the honeycomb just covers the space above the fuel tank, it still has wood directly behind the rear bulkhead. HTH
Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted March 24, 2008 Author Leadership Team Share Posted March 24, 2008 Yes, same here. Just had the car reskinned by Arch and they have given me the replacement floor which I need to fit. Time to be a lemming down at B&Q and buy some self-tappers! Michael.
