ps007
Can any one pick me up off the floor. I have just contacted Caterham for side screens and been quoted almost GBP 100.00 per side inc vat. Does anyone know of maybe perspex ones or a pattern.
John Howe
If you are refering to the small plastic screens that slot into the hinge where the doors normally go, then forget them as a waste of space. If you are refering to the doors I can't help... JH Edited by - John Howe on 22 May 2002 16:19:
ps007
Thanks for that, I agree the wind deflecters are about as good as a choc' fire guard. It is the doors I seek
wag
Bite the bullet. Perspex would scratch the paint and leave no room for your elbow. The proper doors seal against the body a bit and reduce draughts and water ingress. Edited by - wag on 23 May 2002 18:50:
Anthony Micallef
Be warned that side screens DO mark the sides as my car will testify. The Happy 7 Ownerteeth.gifteeth.gifteeth.gif

It's even worn away in places! 40k+ miles though (Casbar? What colour's yours too?). His vis sidescreens go on the driver's side. Her vis sidecsreens on the passenger's. Davey Bee
Save your paint work and have a lot more fun... Get rid of the screens.. thats right all of them, all you need is a Aero screen and a helmet for the winters. It doesn't matter if you feel like a prat in a helmet no one can see who you are and you are having fun. The screens are for Village People.....
