FH Posted May 22, 2002 Share Posted May 22, 2002 As so many of you chaps are clever whizzes with computers et al, could I borrow an eensie bit of your time for this non-Se7en related topic please smile.gif I have an HP LaserJet 6P (approx 4 years old). The HP website is nigh-on useless. (I've just spent an hour trawling through)and it seems that anything more than a couple of years old becomes obsolete and they don't want to know. A phone call to their Tech Support will cost a minimum of £23. The printer leaves a long black streak down the LHS of A4 paper. I've cleaned it. I've changed the cartridge. Still the same. sad.gif Is it time to change the printer? Do I try and find a local odd-job man to "have a go" ? Answers on a PC would be gratefully received. A company called The Digital Office will send out an engineer to repair it, nationwide for GBP 65.00, 01462 499514, ask for Peter.
