Have already got :

Ital axle

XR4i gearbox (inc sandwich plate)

2* wheels (13*7)

Need : everything else! (but needs to be in good nick) including

Suspension components (preferably updated front suspension i.e full top wishbone

Bilstein shocks / springs (front and rear)

Rear susp (radius arms / A frame)

Anti-Roll bar

Uprights (including Disks/Calipers)

40dcoe's + Manifold

Distributer

Construction guide for Xflow (Caterham have supplied a Vauxhall version)

Exhaust + manifold

Seats

Weather gear

Prop shaft

Radiator

2 more wheels (pref 13*6 Minators (silver)

Steering gear (wheel, column and rack)

If anyone can help with any of the above I'd be very interested to hear from you.

Also keen to hear from anyone who has built (or is building) a caterham classic in slow style and on a tight budget.

Steve,

I have various bits and pieces left over after numerous upgrades.

I have a complete side exit exhaust system (downpipes and silencer).

A pair of Weber DCOE 40's (without manifold).

I have a complete set of engine mounts and I think two engine mount brackets.

A cast iron bell-housing.

Rear Light Clusters

Used starter motor (and a number of alternators but I don't know if they all still work).

I have loads of other bits as well but as I haven't got around to catalogueing what I have I am just quoting from memory.

You can reach me on the E-mail above, or Mobile 07968 162296 or Home 01926 424363

Hi Steve,

I have as new bench seats to suit your build.

Not the most desireable of seat choices I know, but seats all the same.

Let me know if you are interested.

Cheers, Andy N

(Bristol) - can arrange delivery to yours no problem.

  • 3 weeks later...

Like Elie, I have a pair of calipers and disks (about 10,000 miles young) needing a good home - upgraded to AP 4-pots yesterday. I am in the Reading area so slightly easier than Belgium!

Email me to discuss this if interested.

Low tech luddite - xflow and proud!
