Stationary M25 Traveller
The beast landed on its wheels today, started first time, and drove too !! Evidence here Notice the cheapskate (bubblewrap) airbag ... and the need to lay on the ground to check clearance when passing over blades of grass. Forget the man with the red flag - this one needs a highly trained computer technician attached via a wander-lead .... that's going to limit the top speed to a fast jogging pace then !! Nice to see it, and witness the rebirth Dave ... well done 7 related photos Edited by - stationary M25 Traveller on 16 Mar 2008 20:03:

Grebby
It was pissing it down when I arrived. I did set off with the lid down but had to give in when I stopped off at Trevs to pick some bits up. Grebby

henry21p
The RAC man has been very specific in his instructions regarding the towing eye position, the ground clearance of the car and how regularly i'm required to break down to maintain my "frequent flyer" miles programme membership. The car goes so well it frightens the life out of me at the moment. 10 months of no performance car driving and the darned thing is back with a vengeance. Shows me quite how poorly the car had been put together/maintained in the first place. I suppose the old adage of "there's no substitute for doing it yourself" is never more true! In this case - "yourselves" due to all the help i've had.
