Steve Winterberg
Adrian Elkin asked me to post this for him: What is it worth to have a room in Blaue Ecke, (http://www.gastroline.de/blaue-ecke/index.html) a 400 year old hotel, spitting distance from the Nurburgring on the weekend of the magical 'Ring 24hr race (http://www.24h-rennen.de/index.php4?language=en). For professional and club racers alike, it's the race of the year, with a plethora of teams with Se7ens taking part. The hotel is in Adenau on the northern side of the 'Ring, and is an easy walk to the circuit itself. Richard Ince, who has unfortunately had to pull out of the 'Ring 24 hrs at the last minute, is donating the 5 rooms for 3 nights he has booked at this venue from Thursday 30' May through to Saturday 1' June inclusive, to be auctioned off with the proceeds donated to NTL. These rooms are worth at least £60 a night so that's where the bidding starts. With the likelihood of you getting rooms within a 15 mile radius of the 'Ring at this time of year absolutely ZERO, I reckon they're worth more. So come on and get yourself over there. I can help with airfares if need be and have some contacts for discount ferry tickets, so you've got no excuse. And it's all for NTL don't forget. Post your bid here, or email Richard, Steve Winterberg or myself direct. You've got until Thursday so don't hang about! GO ON, DO IT! YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!!!!
