Tom Pickering
Oh yeah, and the front n/s brake pads went too! They were supposed to be racing ones so they need replacing. Any recomendations?

Graham Sewell
Now you should wire it to the carb so you don't lose the cap again. Spare cork washers can be got from Burtons on a next day postal system. You say the brake pads went - as in fell off the car? Surely you can't be serious! But seriously, this is a long ongoing discussion where everyone has a favorite - just check the archives out.... Tom Pickering
Tim - Will do that, and no they did'nt drop of like the other bits. My mate suggested drilling a fine hole through the wing nut and thread (very fine) and wireing it on that way!

Graham Sewell
My brass caps are wired on by using what looks like fuse wire wrapped loosely around the base of the wing nut and then twisted back on itself until it is fed through the 'cold start' cable bracket.
