Slipper man
Excellent company, and (in my experience) willing to be pragmatic about some costs. If you get a rebuild though, you are getting the very best race preparation, and it isn't the cheapest.
Pete-B
Hi, Found a web site Where they are offeing a 160bhp Sigma upgrade for 125s. Thinking of giving them a ring tomorrow just out of interest. Peter

Sheds Moderator
No direct experience but that of the guy who owned my car before me. A 1996 race series 1.4kss with a sealed engine built by Minister. It needed a refresh, and the K series head gasket replacement which was routine prior to the development of the modified version that solves the problems provided liner heights etc are OK. Minister were to do a total strip, refresh etc. and rebuild as a std. 1.4ss with RAC seals as per the race regs. Cost £3500. Yes, that's right. Three thousand five hundred pounds. This was 2002. Undurprisingly he decided no, and fitted a SH unit. Shortly afterwards the HG failed on that one too, he lost interest and i bought the lot. £3.5 k at another specialist will get you a full rebuild, more BHP if you want it and lots of shiny bits. You decide.

Simon Owen
Mixed views from me I'm afraid, no 'direct' experience myself but the original owner of my car had some work done as part of one of their upgrades to the VVC K Series. It was a 170BHP conversion for the VVC at circa £2.4k, having now stripped down virtually the whole engine with DVA it was surprising to find what little they actually did for the money, not really looking to slag off Minister but just point out that had it been my money I would have been very dissapointed.
