TomB
Im ready to test the electrics after putting new dash & scuttle panels in. Most of the ancillary switches & lights work, but the engine wont crank on the starter button. Im wondering if the big red cables that go from the battery to the cut off key, and then to the starter could be the wrong way round. There is a diode or resisitor pack on the rear of the switch so would this make a difference to the starter receiving power? When I turn the ignition, I can hear the IAVC make its noise, and the fuel pump prime. Ive had the battery on charge reasonably recently, so it shouldnt be too dead. I know this part would be tricky - I hate electrics!!

Nickb
Just to hijack this thread! The two white wires (from ignition barrel to FIA switch) on my Supersprint are getting V.HOT and have actually melted the crimp covers! suspect this may be a fia switch problem but wondered if anyone else had any similar issues? intend to replace these two wires anyway. thanks Nick
