Tyrone
You're supposed to finish the build before you start investing in carbon you tart! NE Area Rep Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here
duffym
yes dont spend money on carbon , make it go first.
lancelot
D*mn! Thought I was sufficiently anonymous on here to avoid the flak - Obviously not! Anyway, it should be obvious to all that any and every piece of carbon that I add is purely for weight saving purposes and definately not for it's aesthetic/smooth/racy/gadgety/F1 looks. No, no.... definately not. not even a bit. really...........
Tyrone
Weight saving is an operation intended to make it go faster. This assumes the initial premise that it actually goes. There are very few people who can maintain anonymity on here by the way. Shad
Whereabouts are you lancelot? Might be cheaper than having mine resprayed...
lancelot
I'm in Durham, North east England, so i doubt collection is an option Dunno if it's cheaper than spraying, but at least you might be able to sell t'other one? Anyway, I'll put a tenner towards postage if that's any good? And to everyone calling me a 'Tart' for wanting more carbon - It's a government initiative: I'm offsetting all the carbon I use in my tin-top (can you call a cabriolet a tin-top?), by permanently locking carbon away under a layer of lacquer, in nice wing & nose-shaped increments.............. Shad
I think it's easier for me to get mine sprayed, thanks anyway
Colin Powell
Do you know how much the postage would be, or is there anybody travelling down to the Midlands who could help. Go on then just one more
lancelot
Colin, I'm not at home so can't measure it, but I reckon about £15? I can get it to Leeds if that's any help?
thinfourth
I guess its a new nose and would be no good for something of a 95 vintage The happy handle made me do it here Click here to find 7s in their natural environment
lancelot
Thinfourth, It's never been used but is from a Blackbird kit of 2 or 3 years ago. I seem to remember been shocked when I read in the paperwork that the chassis order said '97 spec. Is that any help?
