whats the deal for class 6 cars

assumig i don't get MOT sorted before first round (llandow for me), is there anything else I need to do like get a log book for running in a non road legal class

 

will be in class 5 trim but just with no MOT

You don't need an MSA logbook as it's a road car - it just doesn't have an MOT. A V5 is fine as identification.

You should have just kept schtumb and run in class 5 . . . unless busted of course. All they'd do is move you up to a non-road legal class - to 6 for L7C and to Formula Libre below 2000cc or whatever the national class is (if busted when we're invited by someone else)

but I thought that the L7 competitors where all gentlemen (execept the ladies of course) and where all honest chaps are you telling me that there might be some that would break the rules

I seem to recall Brodie being given a couple of events grace to get the Duratec Registered etc after turning up at Longcross with no MOT.

 

I myself do not have a problem with this.
