rj
Scott, It may be worth mentioning whether those are for through the DeDion tube or under the tube damper fixing. /regin
Tony Whitley
Scooter, I'll have them please if they're the through the DeDion tube type (unless you want them Regin).
rj
Tony, No thanks. I've got sufficient Bilsteins - just wanted to help Scott selling. But thanks for acting as a gentleman anyway. /regin
Tony Whitley
Having done some research... are these M0 (aka road) or M1 (aka track)? I want them for road use. And my car is 1995 but had a new chassis in 2002 so I'm not sure about the length of the front dampers. But apart from all that, I do need new dampers! rj
Tony, I think the M1s look significantly different. If your front dampers are fixed by a separate bolt it'll be the recent - longer - type (post 96) - if they are held by the same bolt as the wishbone it' ll be the shorter type. Although it's not a pretty sight you can just see how the current fixing looks here (I don't wash my car) /regin
Tony Whitley
Thanks Regin - mine are held by the same bolt as the wishbone so they're the shorter type. A word of advice - there are much more suitable off-road vehicles than a 7 ☹️
rj
Never mind, it was purely bent metal Rather running out of asphalt than being T-boned from the drivers side by an a***le whom don't know what the triangular "give way"sign mean... It's not too bad off road! Especially in gravel it does well... I reckon there'll soon be a write-up in Low Flying.
