Rory McLeod
Living in Surrey/South London I have to travel out beyond the M25 towards oooh arrh country to find any decent roads, I have taken to marking up B roads in red or green highlighter to indicate good high speed running routes. Most in Surrey are Red as they are 40 limited even in the green bits . I dont know if this is feasible or practical, how about an area where we can post the cream of the B routes sub-divided by County. I know there is a motorcycle site http://www.bytefactory.com/mcycle/routes99.html that does the same, but those postings doesnt really apply to a se7en, which needs straight bits for high acceleration overtaking as well as curves n hills. Plus there is no county sub-divisions so you have to scroll thro lots of dross. I reckon it might become quite popular especially if there was a rating system where people could rate the routes they try. (He he he, lots of work upgrading the site scripts there!!!) What do you reckon Mr Manager? (Can we call you Site or is that too familiar) Edited by - Rory McLeod on 13 Aug 2000 17:51:
Andrew Dent
Surely we could combine this with insets for Low Flying. This would make available content for the mag, and allow drivers to share their favourite routes on line. Andrew Dent
